June 9th, 2009: Real world studies - Phase V
Scandinavian Outcomes designs and conducts real life studies - Phase V - in collaboration with the life science industry and healthcare professionals. The increased focus on this type of studies is widely acknowledged by the medical community. A recently conducted seminar focused on the need for ongoing stakeholder dialog on this issue.

March 3rd, 2009: Meet us in Florida!
Scandinavian Outcomes will present a workshop on 20th May 2009 at the ISPOR 14th Annual International Meeting in Orlando. The workshop will discuss how to generate real world data before market access, when collecting clinical and health economic data from a compassionate use programme. An innovative approach for orphan drugs is to conduct a compassionate use programme with a separate, parallel disease registry to generate and collect treatment data prior to marketing approval of a drug.

February 13th, 2009: IPULS certified course
Our training course within observational research "Att planera och genomföra en observationsstudie" is now certified by IPULS, the institute that critically reviews and certifies education for continuing professional development and postgraduate education of physicians in Sweden. The course is offered to both clinical staff and to our clients within the life science industry that work with observational studies. We offer this course normally as a one day course, however the duration and content can be tailored to meet the needs and requirements of the audience.
